I'd agree, If you could keep it in the guild family do it.
Cost if you do need the plat, would be hard to tell, 600 to 800k is where I would expect it to end up maybe more, just not sure it is a nice weapon, Hold on to it you might want to use it later and could even add force damage to it. (would be bound then but what the heck.)
