HELP!! Patcher, Spalsh Screen Download Freeze

I have had this problem for over 2 days now and tech Support not doing anything about it.

I am getting the message as soon as I open the patcher that Installing pre-Requisite Files Downloading 'Spalsh Screen "
Been like this for over 2 days now I have tried EVERYthing on the forums i can find out about trying to fix this and not 1 thing has worked. I have removed everything and reinstalled Highres 2 times now and removed and reinstalled Stdres once and still 100% same way as soon as I open the patcher. I am out of options can ANY help?

Check your network routing. Windows/other firewall, router settings, upstream connections, etc. That is the exact behaviour you get when certain ports are blocked between you and DDO.

This was happening to me after a fresh install on win 7. The first time you load it, after installing, right mouse on the shortcut for DDO, and run as administrator. It should load up no problem. After that time, you shouldn't need to run as admin again.
