Default Another Easy Button, J/K, or Am I?

Raid leaders might appreciate this, you know that little right click thing you can do to assign teams Red team, Blue team; why not add two or three more colors, and then heres the funny part, make it work in a raid instance instead of running around outside so people can just click and say red go there, blue go there, yellow over there, and green over here?

Might make it a little easier for people to look and say, "Hey, I'm not with my team!" or "Oh look that red bar is dropping really fast, I should throw him a heal <xxxx is out of range> (then theres a ding to the left), darnit man, sorry you got whacked I was trying to heal x name here, forgot he wasn't close to us."

    Anyway, just a thought.

    Not a bad idea.

We are already miles away from any kind of challange or PnP like atmosphere.. Dont take us light years away with Red team! Blue team! Morph!

    great idea.

but tbh i think the thought of "in pnp we didnt have this!" is going to kill a progressive invention once more.

It would turn into 1:21 of this video:

I just realized that they're zerging a bit there.

This idea would be useful in certain situations - especially if they end up creating more split-party raids.

ya cause this game is so pnp *raspberry*

i like this idea for implementing situations where you need seperate the party, especially from a healer point of view.

Take Evon 6 for example. 3 different teams usually, i have to keep track of the people i'm healing by memorizing their names and remembering where they are in party position (ie their red bar in relation to others), Then i need to not get distracted by other red bars going down around them.

This game is years behind most others in ui functionality. The excuse "pnp didn't have it" is a joke. pnp also didn't have 3d characters, real time battle and so much other things. this game is about as much pnp as i am an ultimate fighter :P.
I am roleplaying. My toons are zergers.

Have you never used miniatures in your PnP gaming? How did you play 3.0/3.5 without them?

3d terrain? Mage with a fly spell? Dragon characters flying around? DND is totally 3D. Even without glasses.

I would also like to see a better ability to set up teams. Just a red/blue team doesn't cut it when I want three teams. They also don't order the way I would like. If I set people up on a red team, I want to have all red team members grouped right after each other on the player list.

Here is some UI stuff I'd like to see.

Instead of colors for teams, use numbers. I don't see people making 12 teams in a 12 person raid. Use numbers for teams so that we can color code players on the map.

Color coded dots on the map to match the players. That way we can also tell who is who on the map but also see all our team members in a spot and our teams should be numbered instead of colored. Use colors here instead of numbers because players may want to rearange the order of the players if they are assigned a team. Numbers would just confuse people when you are hitting the function keys.

I think that the colors should be the same accross all players so that if leader says group on the red dot, everyone goes to the same red dot and there is no other red dot around. This is so there isn't any confusion and you can communicate to the team "I'm the red dot." I've wanted to be able to say something like this, instead I have to say I want a cloudkill in the spot that I am jumping up and down on or I have to say the trap box is right were I'm jumping at.

Be able to rerange the players on our group list so that if you are on a particular team, you can group all the people you are assigned to in a better spot so you can better hit the F 1-12 keys that work best for you.

Be able to right click on the players names and adjust each others voice volume individually. Having to rely on someone else to set up their volume is a PITA because there is no happy medium. Some are loud, some are soft.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.
