A question about evasion...

I've recently been told by numerous "experianced" players that evasion works while wearing Heavy Armor. An example given to me was an intimi tank taking a splash of 2 monk to get evasion, to use vs. the Demon Queen and not get run over.

Durring this disscution I protested furiously having experiance with evasion myself having a full monk, a pally/monk/rogue(solar phoenix), and a ranger. I quoted the description of the feat. I've even witnessed a friend using a "monster build"(fighter/ranger/rogue) variant with Heavy Armor(for the AC...lol) and the evasion not working vs. spells or traps.

My question is does evasion(all or part of it) work while wearing Heavy Armor? Is it actually glitched?

NO evasion dont work in anything else but docent/ robe,vestment,light armor

Doesn´t work in anything else than light armor or lighter (robe/monk outfit/composite plating/mithral plating), has been fixed years ago.

You're going to have to elaborate on "experienced" player.

That doesn't sound like experienced at all, that sounds like someone who heard a rumour and in full plate got to save vs something and assumed evasion would work...

It doesn't, light or no armour and unencumbered for it to work

Evasion doesn't stop you from getting flattened by Lailat even if it did work in heavier than light armor.

I couldn't remember every example that they were spouting, but I figure that particular example would show you what I was dealing with.

I figured it may have been bugged at one point in time but wasn't sure. I've only been playing for a year now.

And I thought Overrun was a Dex/Balance Check...lol
