lag spikes today

just a quick one for the admins to read and any orien players to coment on.

it seems orien is experiencing bad lag spikes (1 to 5 seconds) at fairly regular intervals. this was experienced by multiple people at the same time. decided to take a break from playing for tonight as it got so bad.

normaly oriens a prety well behaved server for lag (except shroud obviously).

any ways feed our hamster. that is all.

Yes, the lag was VERY VERY bad last night!! It takes like 5-10 seconds before the server sends reaction when you do something that requires reaction (hitting a monster, clicking on a vendor, etc).

Then when I tried to re-start the client, it takes many many minutes to actually be able to log-in. That's probably the consequence of each answer from the server is being very slow. I think the website was also very slow yester night.

Have to say thank you thou to that lag. Made healing Chronos so much easier when you can actualy take your time to click each name and cast the spell lol.

I got booted from the server at about 5:30 CST and was not able to log back on until about 9:30. Either the launcher would choke, it would count through 20 "looking for server" attempts on the first log screen or it would choke on the loading screen after toon selection.

It was static group night.

I was the only one missing.

According to devs they were restarting ghallanda server today possibly consuming bandwidth or messing with all other servers 2 just some food for thought maybe a connection there.?

last night there was a rough patch, didnt catch the time. People got booted from the server and were unable to log in for a long time. Seemed to vaguely coincide with them fiddling with another server.
