    Default Age old question

My wife just recently started to play DDO and is having issue finding a class/build that she enjoys.

She used to play Perfect World International and had a fairly high level (80+) cleric. Would anyone have a suggestion as to what class and/or build would be advisable? She has only 28 point builds and nothing unlocked. We've not the money to throw at unlocking anything for her just yet. However, she is VIP.

    Thank you in advance.

Sounds like she's used to the healing role, so start her off on a heal-specced cleric. Run the lowbie stuff to Elite, building favor (& a few TPs to boot) to unlock some stuff the free way.
Healer clerics never have any problem finding groups, especially in lower level content. This will also give her time to get a feel for the game and decide what class she'd like to stick with.
    Happy hunting.

Planning on staying VIP, or later dropping to Premium?

Yeah make her a cleric, see if she likes it. If she does, she can cap it to 20 and never have a problem getting a group if she heals. She will probably gain some rep on her server.

However, if she starts getting bored and wants to wack some things and heal, get her a FvS.

Clerics do well with 28 point builds.

Max her Wisdom, 14 Con, then rest into Str. With this build, she can alternate between offensive casting or crowd control and healing in between and also be able to melee a little.

I suggest starting her off as a Human.
