Update 7, Patch 1 - Preview Live on Lamannia

Lamannia has been updated with a preview of Update 7, Patch 1.

As part of this patch we've made a few small tweaks that we need to collect some data on. If you have time and want to help us gather some data, hop on to Lamannia between 3pm and 6pm today (Eastern/GMT-4) and let me know if you have any issues doing any of the following:

• Creating a new character as a Vet (on the boat)
• Creating a new character and running through the Groto.
• Popping into an airship (I'll be opening up a level 100 guild with a Stormglory Tempest; look for an LFM).
• Generally going from public to private instance (town to quest; quest to town).

If we get enough folks on later this afternoon/evening (and things go well on our end), I'll make sure to get you an early look at the full Update 7 Patch 1 release notes.

Lamannia will be up throughout the weekend for your previewing pleasure. We have a new downloader for folks that don't already have the client (see the link in my signature).

Might want to make a post in the regular boards too, since there are probably only a few people that check the Lamannia boards after a major update. (I just happened to come here on a whim. )

If this is going to be up more than 24 hours, anyone want to check if the guild renown decay is turned back on? I'm wondering if the "1000 newbs killing 1000 kobolds" method is once again the best way to get a high level guild, but hoping it isn't.

This is just a small thing, but is the patch going to fix the Wrath of Sora Kell set bonus?

It was pretty annoying to grind out the set and then realize that the +2 attack/+2 damage from the set bonus was not being applied.

Another small thing (from someone that's never been able to get Lamania to work):

Will this fix the tooltips for Superior Ardor, Superior Inferno etc clickies so that they say 75% not 50%? (Likewise for the Greater Ardor etc clickies). The effect was changed in Update 3, but the tooltips are still wrong.

Just created a new H-orc barb with veteran status, no problems, except the problem that male half-orcs cannot go up the ramp on the left-hand side of the starter airship (left-hand as you are facing backwards going back towards the captain).

Yeah the new arrow sounds are very mechanical sounding, as if they where ment for crossbows as got attached to all bows by mistake.

I ran 2 toons through the grotto with only 2 minor things. The first, Arcee, was one that I rolled up before the update went live showed that the box checked that I had talked to Jeets, but he was doing the dialog as though I had just logged in for the first time. Other than that the run went smooth.
The second Testoid, was a fresh creation using the tempest template. Everything was fine until the end. I finished the end battle, found the hidden door and went into the last room. Jeets did not come over to the chest or enter the final room with the other 2. I found him standing by the entrance to the final battle room. He did disappear when the quest was finished however.

Created a vet toon with no issues. Fighting on the ship was a blast. Reminded me of when Risia was taken down for the final time and the marketplace was getting overrun. Except when me and my big mouth wondering if Velah would fit on the ship
