Default A rant about Shroud rants

    Stop it.

    Nobody cares.

Shroud was easy when the cap was level 16. It's still easy now. Even with dumb people in your parties. 5 to 10 minutes lost in that raid does not justify the 30 minutes you spend slaving over your wall-of-text Shroud Rants.

You're crying about people not doing puzzles, not running waters, not casting whatever spell you want, etc.... get over it.

Shroud rules to live by so we can all stop seeing "Shroud Rant" threads:

    1. If you consistently find yourself in 50+ minutes shrouds, you are the problem.
    2. If you didn't host the raid party you get no say in how it was run nor do you get to complain about it on the forums. Stop crying and start hosting.
    3. Host your own Shrouds... then, if you end up with dumb people in your party it's your fault. This ties in with #1 and #4.
    4. It's your fault.
    5. This is the most important one of all: THE IDIOTS THAT ARE RUINING YOUR PRECIOUS SHROUDS ARE NOT ON THESE FORUMS.

You'd think #5 would be a no-brainer... yet almost daily there are new threads started complaining about Shroud runs/groups. Well, here is my contribution.

So there was this chick the other day who wanted to buff as soon as we stepped into the tunnels.... not the quest.... just the tunnels

    Talking ur right - BUT

Val im sure ur correct, however I would like to point out this is from your gaming experience and you must not run on Kyber! If you did you would see that Kyber is the exception which prove ur rules, which I totally agree with.

Rules for Kyber, rule 1) if you get the feeling you are gonna wipe b4 u start there is a reason, bail while u can.
    2) if u get the wipe feeling b4 u start, make excuse like u have lag issues and loading issues, etc.
    3) bail b4 u start so they can wipe w/ some1 else.

PS, I love Kyber, even the wipes r fun, so I dont mind any run

Your reason #5 is likely one of the reasons you see the rants. It lets the poster vent frustrations in a reassuring and reinforcing environment.

I've found the best therapy is to vent on the actual players in your raid party right then and there. Saves so much time not having to forum rant

You are correct, however if we stop shroud ranting how are we going to get our shroud fix when we are at work, at school, or in another raid???

    What's worse, whining, or meta-whining?

People that whine about whining are kind of missing the point...

For some in people better therapy. The times I've seen start it general escalates tensions making the run even more annoying for anyone who hasn't turned off the sound.
