You could also do The Reaver's Fate and score a Head of Good Fortune to eak out the last bit for your haggle.

If you plan on playing this character regularly, you would be better to put something else in the place of negotiator and skill focus: haggle.

If you are going to park your bard and be just haggle then those are ok but I'd wait until you got your CHA skill item from Shroud and buy the Sybieries Dragonshard to swap out one of the feats and save the other from the dragonmark question quest.

You don't need Spell Penetration that earlier. You may not need both at all.

Agree on the removal of SF: Haggle / Negotiator while you level this guy. You'd be much better served with Toughness, for one. Possibly Power Attack for piling on the damage when you're hitting those helpless targets.

    EDIT: Hit save too soon

Equipment wise, save a spot for a CO item and maybe a Torc. You'll be all about getting SP back, right? You're also going to want a Staff of the Petitioner or a Dreamspitter, methinks.

    HELM: Minos

    NECKLACE: amrath neckie/torque

TRINKET: (Xachosian Eardweller good luck getting that!) head of good fortune
GOOGLES:Spectacles of Spirit Sight (i already got this one... i'll use it until i get Xachosian) Ok good because this doesnt stack with the trinket

    BRACERS:bracers of the glacier

GLOVES:gloves of the glacier for buffing gaunts of eternity for healing crit etc

BOOTS:firestorm greavers/boots of the innocent/boots of anchoring golden greavers

BELT:200 sp belt from amrath or +6 con 30 life belt from amrath

CLOAK: Napkin doesnt stack with goggles nor trinket and bards hardly have any good non enchantment spells/ bards cloak/gs item//epic halloween cloak ok to late for this but got them on both my bards there awesome.

ARMOR: Dragon touched +5 resist with maybe some guards and for sov rune +3 spell pen drop the feats then you dont need 40 spell pen to hit mobs with the 3 spells you have.

RING1: Shavarath ring with Exc Cha.

RING2: thelis untill you got the bracers then replace it with something else

PR. HAND: Greater Spell Penetration VI => torque will fix this sceptre of healing untill you got the eternity gaunts

SEC. HAND: I always carry the skyvault shield on me.. wich gives some dr and when **** hits the fan you can block with it absorbing some damage

Also toughness is pretty important for a bard get it don't gimp yourself to much with taking haggle feats

heighten is important to make your discoballs/mass suggestion dc's stronger wich are one of the best cc spells you have available to you.

    quicken for healing

swap out emp healing for maximise hat 18 or 20 with the free featswap.

    enh wise

drop the spell pen feats seriously spell pen 3 I didn't even knew that existed..

your spell pen is to much and it's overkill to have 40 spell pen end game especially since you are giving up spellsinger II for the extra spell pen

Get all the healing enh possible. Healing is like 85% what you bring to the party gimping yourself on this is 100% unaceptable

also 9 points left and nothing in lingering song and inspire courage songs invested. Prepared to see a lot of sad pandas when you start singing is all I
    can say.

Always get the full atk song enh. On a personal note i think damage 3 is detatable but what you did is 100% unacaptable get the atk songs first then think about the rest !

well the problem with parking your bard is that you do need specific raid items to max your haggle wich means you do have to bring your gimpy toon to someone else his raid..

Thanks all for tips on equip and toon
About u how many spell pen enhancement can i drop? Maybe even a feat?
I surely invest points to improve (as well as i can) my chants but i don't think i can max it up... so better +3 hit/+2 damage or +2 hit/+3 damage? (anyway i'll do my counts as soon as i know how many SP enhancement i should drop)

I surely run lot of time reaver's fate and surely i want an unlocked dreamspitter (it works sooooooooooo well against held mobs :P).
So HoGF to me (as long as i don't even Xachosian or an epic with blue augment slot)!
Minos... i forgot to list it :P

@Voodoo: what means CO item? sorry

    I'd say:

Drop Skill Focus: Haggle and Negotiator for feats that will be helpful outside of town.

Heighten, Toughness, Mental Toughness, PA, FoP, etc

You lose 5 haggle and gain much more. IMO NEVER take those feats unless you plan on leaving the toon in town and never playing it.

Probably he means Concordant Opposition item

Regarding your feats. You will need Toughness. Even if you don't mix it up too much. You can always swap it out later, once you park the toon (after you have your gear). I hear an echo in this thread

You take Spell Pen way too early. You don't need it at level 3. Many builds take Toughness at Level 1, since a lot of the other feats aren't all that useful at low level (Spell Pen line, for instance).

It's good that you did go 14 STR if you plan to short-man some quests. I too went 14 STR on my Spellsinger, and she's "capable" of decent melee at low level, using decent low level weapons (Carnifex works well, if you can use Martial weapons via Master's Touch).

That is why you gimp after you've gotten everything you need for max haggle. I've been collecting the Dragonshards needed and I still have the free feat exchange from the Dragonmark questions. That free exchange works just as well at 20 as it does at 1.

If you have any intention to gimp, do it after.

Have yet to gimp mine because I don't have any Head or a CHA tome. Waiting for a 20th completion in both and hoping to pull what I need. I can still multi-box Reaver with my Wiz if I don't get a Head. Already have my exceptional CHA dagger and CHA skill item.

Fully heal spec'ed and does quite well. Can CC really well.

I did learn a few things also when playing Quickymart. Definately not a loss.

Ok so the line is to drop the haggle feat and take up some others... following this idea i think i should take heighten for CC and another useful.

Little question: How SP is calculated? I want to have a Greater SP item and I've the 3 enhancement and both the feat on my build.
So u say me that I don't need so much SP cause I'm overkilling 40... what's the number I've to be around to act well and effectively then??

CO item... why? It's not better to have some useful guard instead of that?
I don't think the +10 haggle will stack with other bonus so what's the point? I really can't see it

Noob question number 2: what means gimp?
Can't find it on my dictionary -_-

Concordant Opposition will give you SP and HP. Combined with a Torc of the Prince of R(sp?) take hits and gain your SP and HP back. My Wiz has a CO item but I need a Torc to complement it.

There are better feats than Mental Toughness but if you have all the feats you need then you can take it. It will only add 105 SP as lvl 20 which is why there are better feats.

Gimp means useless. There are better and more effective feats than Negotiator and Skill Focus Haggle. If all you are going to do is haggle, those feats will max it out and you won't be gimp in haggle. If you are going to play your character, you will want different feats there because you will see how your character is performing in certain situations and you'll wish you had something more effective. Since you are not effective, you are Gimp.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.

Sorry I think I made u misunderstood me
    My fault, sorry again
When I was talking about SP I mean Spell Penetration and not Spell Point :P

Most people suggest me to take the Spell Penetration Feats later and even to drop someone!
So I need to know what I've to drop (if Feats or Enhancement) ^^

PS: Got the point of CO now thanks a lot

I think everyone is saying you might want to do this:

    1: Toughness
    1: Emp Heal
    3: Enchantment Focus
    6: Extend
    9: Spell Pen
    12: Greater Enchantment Focus
    15: Greater Spell Pen
    18: whatever, Heighten, Quicken

Consider swapping Emp Heal for Maximize later on.
If you park the toon, consider swapping Heighten/Quicken for Skill Focus: Haggle.
If you park the toon, consider swapping Toughness/Greater Spell Pen for Negotiator.

Good feat selection, but I would take Quicken and Heighten over two spell pens.

    Guild: Fallen Immortals
Toons: Soza, Sozz, Sozza, Sossa (bards)

Am I understanding correctly that your girlfriend will be singing Inspire Courage? I cringed when I noticed that you were missing Inspired Attack and Inspired Damage.

If you're planning to get all that fancy gear, then I would recommend actually playing this character. It makes no sense to use him solely as a hagglebot when you've gone to so much trouble equipping him.

In common, non-gamer English, gimp = impolite slang for someone who is crippled. In the context of a game, gimp = weak. A gimpy character is one who is really bad at everything related to combat. Replacing a useful feat with SF: Haggle weakens your character, turning him into a gimp.

I was not missing IA and ID! I just leave em out cause I was in need to calculate how many AP I could spend after grabbing all the Pre-req for spellsinger II (and they're a lot, you know ).
Now I think that I can drop SP 3 (enhancement) and spare 6 AP for a total of 15 available AP.
I wish I could have an updated planner...
Anyway I think I would spend some point for chant (I've to see if I can max up both but I think it will be hard...) and try to max up healing enhancement too

Anyway for sure I'll play this too, I love bard too much to create one only to keep him hold in city :P
