I like the idea of changing the dot color, or being able to reorder the positions.

As far as positional sound It wont work as long as everyone sounds like they are the same distance away. If you are not within range of hearing you wouldnt be able to hear. Personally positional sound wont work for me at all since I only have voice chat in my headphones and I only wear one side, so I can hear sound effects, and my kid screaming, or my wife talking to me. The last two are occasionally switched but I wont get into that.
