    I wonder if this thread will make it to over 1.100 posts like the one in which we were waiting for them to fix the transfer tool

    Obviously someone did a vod with multiple pug casters, and in the process of thinking they were being useful they crashed the server with every AOE available to thier class. :-D

    fyi its euro peak time maybe we all logged in at once and your server couldnt handle the load

    Segmentation Fault.... Core Dumped

    At first I thought it was my client that crashed ( I was in transition between Market and the guild ship ).

    Someone was throwing ham around the market place bank...maybe the server couldnt handle all the spam?

    Sorry guys it was me, I just TR'd my Clr into a fighter and my Aura of Awesomeness that kept the servers up was reset. I'll try to get my Aura of Awesomeness back up ASAP.

    Depends on the server... I've seen systems that takes 8 to 10 hours to come back fully online after a failure.
    ( ok Telco dedicated systems )

    I've seen a computer ( HP Class K Server... 10 years ago ) that took 1 Hour from the time you turned the power on to the time it started to boot HP-UX ( add 15 more minutes for that )... And right now Sun ( Oracle ) SPARC servers can take up to 10 minutes before they boot Solaris or Linux.
