Back after six months - characters gone...

Hey, i stopped playing in march, but didn't delete the toons/the account... wanted to go for a quick stroll with an old toon, reinstalled the game, reset the password for the account - but the username stayed the same. didn't know for sure which server i played on (ghallanda? orien? cannith?), but after checking every available server, the toons are all gone, even though at least the main toon still exists in-game.

any way to get at least the one toon back?


edit: Just to clarify, I really checked every server (Ghallanda, Orien, Cannith, etc.) // I really used the right account for the login...

Search myddo with your toon name, even if myddo isnt updating a six month old toon should be still listed there.

Now if the toon isn't anywhere on eberron try looking for them on ravenloft.

But on every server i log onto with the old account it says "0 of 2 characters available"...

Well dont fell like you in the boat alone. I stopped back in may due to pc issues and have since built a new rig.I downloaded ddo a few nights ago and went to log in and guess what no toons,but my turbine account say different..I go look up toon details and says the same thing "toon has been archived please log into to veiw details".Now the problem im having with this is i spent good money on this game and was a vip for quite some time..I hope that at least someone can at least give a decent anwser to what has happened here...

To add more i just contacted a old friend from our guild and he is having the same problem.

Are you entirely positive yuo signed in under the old account not signed up for new account when you re-downloaded?

DDO doesn't delete characters so my guess is wrong/new username.

Well, we do have a "lost character" sticky, but it sounds like you guys have already checked all of those options. If none of the suggestions there work, please contact Account Management and they will be happy to try to assist. If you submit a web inquiry, be sure to include the name of the characters and the server (the one you believe is most likely).

Also, please note that the servers re-order themselves when you log into them. Be sure you make a list of the servers you've tried.
