Default monk BAB/flurry of blows question

so, my monk is 8, and i was wondering about my BAB/flurry of blows. according to the site, and the 3.5PHB, the base for lvl 8 monk bab is +6/+1, and my flurry of blows is +5/+5/+0.

i know the game does +0 bab's, otherwise at lvl 1 why would it put my bab at 0/+1? and since i havent seen an increase in my bab besides +1 every lvl, and +1/+1 on a few lvl's, im just confusted as to howe bab/flurry of blows works for DDO monks, cuz i know how the work in P&P, and it seems to be like a mix? or variant of P&P FOB.

monks get 3/4 bab progression but, when centered, fury of blows gives you +1 attack bonus every 4 levels (so you get an attack bonus equal to full bab progression).

If you mouse over your attack bonus in your character window you'll see a note explaining that for monks they'll see their bab as it qualifies them for feats like twf and their bab after fury of blows has been counted.

So Kev, there is no extra attack from flurry as in PNP.

Essentially, everyone has the same number of attacks driven by the animation. Your BAB increases your attack speed. Monks get a 3/4 BAB but while unarmed, are treated as having a full BAB, thus attack faster. Fists also have a slightly-faster animation, the result of which is intended to map the extra attacks from flurry into a faster attack rate for monks.

i know the progression from flurry, and yes u do get more attacks in P&P, otherwise why would flurry start at #/# and end up #/#/#/#/#?

i probably should have worded my question better, but i was wondering, will my bab ever increase, as in #/#/# ect or am i at #/# from 1-20?

Your BAB with fists at 20 will be +20, not +15. It will be shown as +15/20 though; you'll be using the 20 w/ wraps etc.

A core monk has a 3/4 BAB progression; just like a rogue.

    DDO Rogue 1: BAB +0
DDO Monk 1: BAB +0/+1 ... with the second number not representing an additional attack, but rather what your BAB base is with flurry.

    DDO Rogue 8: BAB +6
DDO Monk 8: BAB +6/+8 ... +6 with normal weapons, +8 with flurry

The / does not represent the follow-on attacks.
