Around this time 7 days ago (+- a few minutes) I triggered successfully my character transfer... got my points a few minutes later

But still no characters...

I really wold love to know what's going on... do we have to write tickets?
Do we have to re-use the transfer tool?
(has anyone already tried that and gotten his chars within hours after doing so?)

Before someone starts "Weekend days don't count"... please don't.
I heavily doubt that this whole character transfer thing is done manually.
Also, I doubt that they stopped the "character transfer process" at friday evening. That wouldn't make sense...

There is a massive amount of people who want their toons transferred, some with full acounts, some with two accounts... yadda yadda.

In my opinion it's simply too much data-handling for a handful people to constantly handle all this manually, even if just partial. In such a case, if they really do that despite what I believe, 1-7 business days - substracting weekends and holidays would have been way to unsrealistic.

My guess is, that some transfers didn't work out correctly - meaning, they didn't end up in our accounts for some reason.
Yes, it's a guess, since we don't know what's going on at the other side.
A guess that gets hardened by seeing everyone else getting their toons within hours or a day or two, despite the fact that they started the transfer a day or two later than others.

I understand that Tolero only can give us the info he is allowed to hand out to the public. I am also not blaming him or Turbine for not having my chars.

I work in an IT department, and when we are doing something that concerns our users (world wide), we keep them informed - even if it is not so good news. Some might still complain, but the majority usually is more understanding and patient.

So don't judge us so hard, just because we worry and no one's there to take those worries away.

I got an e-mail from Turbine at 04:33GMT on the 16th November informing me that the transfer was complete. Will log in tonight to confirm arrival.

EDIT: CAN CONFIRM THAT TOONS ARRIVED AND ALL WAS WELL!

its an automatic process, i was pretty sure of it before we had some turbine feedback, its an automatic process running all the time. i was logged on ghallanda when my transfer occured. it seems to copy 3/5 characters per minute. the main problem of this process is that it can copy only 1 character at the same time. lets say the process copies 5 characters per minute. consider 10000 accounts, each account with 10 characters. you will copy 100000 characters in 28 days. all these numbers are pretty low, there should be more characters to copy i guess.

Requested the transfer on the 2nd November (is there a way to find out exactly when?) and haven't got them yet Not a peep. Got the Turbine Points almost immediately...

I think its pretty bad when people are still waiting for them to land on G-Land and others have already had them transferred to their chosen servers.

We have 2 guildies waiting for them to get to G-Land and one other has already had them land on Thelanis!

YAY.. last midnight my two accounts finally arrived on Ghallanda.
I've gone through all my chars already, deleted 10 toons that I had on Keeper but never played, resolved some naming issues with -1-2.. and noticed one strange thing: ALL my blue docents are now pale green! W T F?! I have a lot of warforgeds and most of them dark blue.. they look quite awful now. I hope there's a way to get this fixed...
