My Christmas List

1. Cloaks...I know you folks can do it...I see some really cool cloaks in LotRO, and you proved you can make little stones float around people's head like little planets. I can't wait to run around Stormreach like a superhero, cloaks are cool.

2. Friendly-Fire Setting- I think a group should be given the option to enter a quest with a possiblity of getting hit by a team member attacks and spells....call it Extreme Hard, Extreme Elite and Extreme Epic. Yaaaaaa! bring on the pain!

3. A Game within the Game: An in-game card game...like "Three Dragons Ante" or a maybe a Sabacc-like Card game of your design...would be a blast...there could be special card palors in the city where Players could play each other for coins of the realm and stuff.

Well, that's my Christmas List, I know it's alot...but I've been reeallly good this year.

I like this. It would encourage others to be more tactical and would add a new element to teamwork.

2. I can see sorcs getting annoyed at this, they can't pick and choose spells at a whim to suit regular/friendly fire types. Many spells will be forced out of this style of play (FW, CK, to be specific but generally all AOE spells), perhaps a separate build is in order (as one would make for permadeath or static groups).
3. Still not sold, sorry. This would need a wide selection of mini 'time waster' events, all would need some decent reward. But ultimately I would prefer to log-off and do something else rather than these time wasting events.


Also... it's not important but... I'd like a docent to make my WF look like a Wookie.

I’m with you on #1 and #3.

I play LOTRO too and it would look great on some characters.

Playing card games or mini games would be awesome. People could head over to the Rusty Nail and socialize while playing games at the tables. I think the RP community would really like this.

Wish #2 has to get a no vote. I’m not Miss Cleo but I’m seeing a lot of PUG, guild, and forum drama resulting from that one.

I agree with you that #2 is not for PUG's, it's more for those who'd like to play without a 'net', like permadeathers and static groups looking for added danger...not for everyone.

1) Fix broken PrE's. Specifically Stalwart/pali hate in stance (its been over a year now...come on)
2) Fix the constant loss of action boost when taking on and off necklaces
3) New upper level content (not more epics, more quests for 18-20 with new storylines)
