Loading Please Wait

I crashed loading into giant hold form the marketplace with my wizard when i tried to get back in it gets stuck at Welcome to Eberron Loading Please Wait and times out..

when i tried to log in a different toon i got in just fine but same thing when i tried to zone stuck at Loading please wait

so now i have 2 toons i cant log in and been searching forever for a fix seen multiple threads but no fix posted can anyone help me out here?

I'm having the same issue. Anytime that I zone out of the marketplace into any other city area I lock up at the loading screen. I tried uninstalling an reinstalling, no help there. Just putting this out there so it doesnt get lost.

This is getting pretty **** stupid. Any chance of this getting looked at any time in the next few days/weeks/months/years? Completely turning me off of this game, can't log into the characters I want because of a bug, and one that appears to be a rather common thing. Hopefully someone from blizzard, i mean turbine, will read this and respond. Yes, I have tried all the fixes that have been posted and still nothing.

update : i completely uninstalled removed EVERY trace of ddo from my pc reinstalled it ....

STILL CANT GET PASSED THIS SCREEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think they even read this board ive already sent in as much info as i posssibly could have to their tech support now to wait 3 weeks for an answer while they charge me for it!

Edit: ive tried every fix for every problem on this board and nothing works, friend had this problem and it fixed itself in a couple hours... im going on 14 hours no fix yay!

oh i forgot one thing... i made a new toon i can go anywhere with it.. but no others......

Same, but the character I can't log in with is the one I really want to play.

i have 10 slots... 7 were farm bots 2 were toons i play ALL the time... i just want my wiz/rog and ranger back they can keep the others lol

kinda odd how a new toon can run around w/o a prob but my oldies are stuck in limbo yet in game support told me its probably on my end and to send in a ticket via the webpage....

how can it be my end if the noob can go everywhere.....


Edit : the only thing that these guys all have in common is the motes from the festival i cant think of anything else do you have the motes on your stuck guy too?

ok so i tried to run through every zone with the noob... bank in market cant go in delete remade, house p cant go in deleted him and remade again house j is a no fly zone as well... delete remade again.. everywhere else a level 4 can go i zone just fine

i dont get it can someone please give me a new idea of what to do?

ive redl'd all the dx, redid all my video drivers, deleted every trace of ddo and reinstalled it, opened my router options made sure all ports were open, checked my filewall its good, restored my computer to a day i was playing fine, check ie to make sure there was no proxy, made sure i was still VIP, ran a trace route everything was 63ms no time outs, lowered all settings to as low as they could, and more im gettin ****y trying to fix this!


i checked my dndclient.txt file and its stopping at : GlobalEventHandler::RecvEvt_CharSet: called. nothing after im getting told there should be more but there isnt ...

its not doing
GlobalEventHandler::RecvEvt_PlayerSessionStart_Ser verToClient: player:
SmartBox::UpdatePlayer: static scenery and landscape is loaded.

(got that info from a friend on vent deleted numbers just incase its a character file)

None of my stuck characters have any motes on them. One of the new ones I created got stuck zoning into a quest. Gggrrrr ... this is getting to the point where I am going to take my $15 a month and go somewhere else. Hell, almost any game has got to be better than this now ... its getting so **** frustrating. Now I can't even play with my friends from across the country.

so getting into more detail with a buddy who hoppd on vent he had this problem before said to just take a night off try in the morning but make sure u toss in a ticket with as much info as possible .. so im going to try tommorrow eve and see if i still have the same issue i might stab a kitten

Update 1:20 PM EST :
the problem has fixed itself... i can now move around with all my toons and zone fine
so i guess DDO has a built in take the day off mechanism
