If you really want the highest numbers, it requires what I posted, which is a ton of grind. The TRs cost TPs (which cost money in some way - whether via sub or by buying the points). The Yug pots cost money. The gear and leveling costs time.


If all you want are joke submissions from rarely-played characters, then that's what you should expect. It's laughably easy to max out healing amp and "win" this contest. I don't have a Human Paladin (or a pure Paladin, for that matter), which is why I won't enter.

If people are having fun with this, more power to them. However, as a contest, it's too easy to load the dice, as it were.

TR costs TP? Hmmm, that's news to me, here I was actually running epic content.
All I see here is BAW BAW BAW, if you don't have the absolute best possibly number that can be obtained then it's not worth it. Since I don't see anybody in here posting their max charisma multiply TRed epic geared LoH screen shots, maybe, just maybe, there aren't any of them, and this will actually be a fun contest for people who have specced for a reasonable amount of healing amp for the purposes of tanking and soloing?

I must admit, the huge non-screenshots make the thread rather difficult to read. I run at 1920x1200, but when I was at my College's computer lab last night, their 1024x768 did not like the high-res pic. It wouldn't let me reply for some reason, as a result.

Looks like the competition is starting to heat up a little bit with our first 20 in the mix. Lets keep the shots coming folks, and see who can win some tasty prizes!

to the OP i did read your thread and stand by my statement that to beat your number one would have to LR and put all points into cha, not just change enhancements...

and i still say that is a waste of time/money, i do not consider this a troll post at all.

I know it's not spectacular... But, this was the very 1st character I made on 02/28/06.


He's had his upz-n-downz... I still think he's turned out pretty well all things considered. Pally's haven't always gotten the best end of the stick, but he was shelved & quite gimped b4 a GReincarnation & getting a few ToD rings and crafting them to make him more viable in End-Content.

For what it's worth, I thank Turbine for trying to have a broad approach @ keeping the game balanced.

I haven't always agreed w/ their descisions, but it has kept us moving on.

Still, pretty impressive considering you only had a couple of buffs. Sadly, yes, this build is disqualified.

I *may* try and bribe you sometime, though, to see how high the number gets if I supply you with +3 Alchemical Pot and our ship's +2 Cha Buff. But that's separate to the contest.

Just wanted to poke my head in and say awesome submissions everyone! Anyone who is interested in entering, remember you have all weekend and most of Monday during the day in order to enter this contest.

Thanks Mcphail, but I'd like you to keep the scale for another contest. Unfortunately too many lazy people only complained about the contest instead of participating in it. All it took was resetting enhancements and waiting three days to fix them, instead they dumped on you every chance they got and wasted more time whining then it would have taken to participate.

Congrats to all the winners though.
