    Talking An RP text option?

In my opinion, DDO is primed for RPing compared to other MMOs. I mean, it's Dungeons and Dragons, the King of RPing! Unfortunately, I never see it. Of course, I haven't done it either, because it seems like there is no place for it. Well, I want to throw this idea out there and see what you all think.

A new text option (and color) that denotes "In Character" talk. That way we can throw in some personality without confusing other players. It might also promote a little bit of RPing just by being an option. So what do you think?

I was thinking Purple as the texts color. That's not being used right?

By the way, I am running a character who enjoys tales of adventure. So don't be surprised it you run into a little Orphan rogue who rewards you for having an RP Bio

I wouldn't mind if there was something like that, but I think it could easily get abused by people thinking they are being funny or cool. Wouldn't mind if DDO added something to make it easier and more common to RP...

Although not purple, that's what I switch my tells colour to. Trade and Tells default are too similar, and it was purple in EQ and WoW, so it's an easy colour to recognize

    Darn, no purple

The way I see it, people already abuse every form of chat, but it's not nearly as common in DDO. Compared to say, WoW, it's a much more mature (relatively speaking) demographic. But even if some people abuse it, we'll still have some people using it, which would be awesome!
