    Default VIP downgrade?

    I logged on this morning and found I had been downgraded from VIP. I went to "My Account" and saw the warning indicating that my card information was not valid. I summarily went and added in a new card and....oops, error, can't validate that card either. Tried 3 more cards.....no dice. I logged into each of my cards websites, all were active and had more than enough balance available. In addition I was able to use 2 of those cards for purchases at local stores shortly afterwards without issue.

    Funny tho, I put in a good 10 hours yesterday without issue. Today, a Saturday, I have issues with the account and when is the account team open? Not on Saturday.

    I will give some credit tho, my account has been here and "ViP" since the initial Beta and this is the first time I have had an issue with my account. Several years and only 1 issue, better than some other companies out there.

    Has anyone else been having issues like the one I descibed at the top?
    Is this a Turbine issue?
    Am I screwed until next week?

    Hello,

    I also happen to have a similar problem. Yesterday, I upgraded my DDO account for the very first time to VIP. I used a friend's credit card since I live in Brazil and my credit card isn't international(My friend's is.)
    I even got to play as VIP yesterday,I could create a half orc, I had 10 account slots for character creation... anyway... VIP Stuff.

    When I logged today on my account to my surprise the VIP status is gone!
    Does this have anything to do with my friend cancelling the subscription?He only did that because the game sent a message it would be charging his credit card monthly for the VIP.

    It doesn't matter if my friend chose to cancel. The 14,99US$ dollars were paid.I have the right to play 1 month of VIP.Or else I want my money back. I did not pay 14 dollars to play 2 hours of VIP.

    I already sent an e-mail to the support but I can't believe it will take 3 days to a week for them to answer. I had planned to play 1 month of VIP starting from yesterday, not a week after.

    If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. This situation is very frustrating, please understand. I just want what was promised in return of my hard earned money.

    I'm sorry to hear you guys are having problems subscribing. We have fairly strict verifications to protect our players and card holders.

    Zassar, it sounds like we're having problems verifying the card details... or possibly your location is not near the billing address? If you contact Account Management they will be happy to try to help.

    GreatOutlaw, if your friend canceled the account within 24 hours of the upgrade then the payment did not go through. We charge subscription fees once a day. You can cancel so it doesn't automatically re-occur, but you have to wait at least a day, or the upgrade doesn't fully process.

    Thanks Victorie. I had called them and was in my 5th minute of being on hold when I saw your reply. After a total of 25+ minutes of being on hold, I finaly got through and the gentleman was able to restore my VIP status. Will monitor closely the charge tomorrow.

    Thanks Victorie, I'm sorry if I sounded a little rude on my post. It's just that I thought for a second that I had given my money for nothing.
    I should had know better that Turbine wouldn't steal my money.

    I will check with my friend if he can pay me VIP again.
