Fix Trash Renown!

I was Enfeebled in an Epic Wizzy King and like we killed some trash and you know how when you kill mobs it throws random renown at you?

For some reason on my screen appeared this message saying I couldn't receive the Heroic Deeds (got numerous 50s like that throughout quest) and I wasn't anywhere near a chest and wasn't picking anything up.

So... I think they have renown pop into your inventory and then disappear when they give it to you from trash, or something.

I couldn't take anymore being Enfeebled ect. so it didn't give it to me for that time. If this is how it works then please change it.

I know, right? Why just yesterday I had to make space in my backpack to pick up a heroic deeds so I threw away my 5 large scales. Those things are useless anyway

Sounds like you got burdeneded beyond belief so you couldn't pick up anything out of a chest to begin with.

Note to self, wack this guy with weakening to take him out fast.

I'd agree it is a bug, but dude.. Grow a set (or as a WF snap something on.) Bug report it and be done. Stop whining to the forums.

All renown enters your pack briefly, when you pick it up, before disappearing. It is a physical object, for some odd reason. I didn't realize there was anyone left who was unaware of this. Too much time spent in the pits, H4X?

Having renown as an inventory item is likely a coding issue, nothing more. IMO there are many better thing for devs to do with their time than make sure h4x gets his trash mob rep when he's enfeebled the rare time he steps into a quest.

Once again, another h4x suggestion thread not signed.

I remember talking to MadFloyd about this issue when discussing backpack space. It was, from memory, known to them and they were still thinking of ways to address that problem.

Ya know, you could always drink a level 2 lesser restore potion to remove the enfeeblement. If your were feebleminded you could drink a mnemonic pot; even the lowest mnemonic will remove feeblemind. All it takes is a tiny bit of preparedness. If you were short on backpack space, it's always easy to find something to dump.

I have a 16str and 18 w/ Rage and 20 with Fire Stance.

Anyway I was at 16str then got extremely burdened somehow and I wasn't at a chest.

I wasn't picking up any renown. I was walking around. We killed a mob and it said on my screen I couldn't take the "Heroric Deeds" as it was spitting out 50 renown to people in their chat windows.

I said "did everyone else just get two 15s and a 50 renown?" and they all say "yeah" and I'm like "whoa!".

So please re-read my original post because this event isn't how you guys assumed it to be.

I wasn't looting anything it was the random renown drop for killing mobs which must be coded to enter inventories that way too.

And I think they may have fixed the problem inventory-space-wise. Perhaps we have an extra section in our inventory we cannot see nor have access to, and when we cannot hold anything weighing 0.01 lb we cannot get it.

Now what?

Back to the topic to the OP just make sure you have something in your inventory deleted or cleared at all times and you should be okay.

from the sound of it, it was caused by the inability to pick it up due to weight limitations (which must have been quite a massive strength hit, or he's carrying a lot of stuff?)
