    Default thread deleted?

    there been this thread around for the last days; it seems to be gone now, all traces (like "find more posts by ...") taken care of, too.

    while the thread has been an ugly one and I therefore understand why it's been shot, I wonder: no comment from the masters of the forum? no note about what happened and why it happened? ...

    Apparently, a line was crossed. What that line is/was, I do not know.

    Shrug.
    Too many toons to list, but the mains are Achewon, Westudi, and Shonufff.

    right, it's not the deleted thread I am after. only surprised by not having somebody "official" giving a comment on what's happening here. ...

    On the main page, on the left hand side is a search box with a clickable link 'Advanced Search' below it.

    Clicking that will bring up some selections. On the right side of those options is one where you can pull up threads that have posts by user. If you type your name (or anyone really) in there you can find the threads where you have posted. They are sorted by most recent to have any post order. If you see the thread is no longer appearing in the list it got munched. That should save you time in having to look through each section.

    good hint, Fom, to use the Search on main page. I indeed used the different sections' Search (several times, too ^^), until I was sure I haven't just overlooked that thread ...

    If the thread is getting bad, for whatever reason, it tends to get locked. If the thread has crossed the line, it gets eaten. Threads that get locked give you a message (and sometimes you can still read them) when you click on them. Eaten threads... well...

    I do not see any tentacles.

    An easier way to look for something you posted is to click on your name in the upper right hand corner, then click on statistics, and then "find all posts by _______"

    its called google and yes its still there. tbh i always use google is just a more accurate searching device then the forumsearch if uno wat ur looking for. be sure to match sentences.
