Loot in Devil's Assault elite sucks

I ran this last night, more or less as a precursor an epic version, since I knew it had changed slightly since the last time I ran it.

There are more chests, 3 total IIRC, but nothing terribly interesting.

And the end rewards were an absolute joke - I was getting choices like +2 falchion, +3 dagger, etc. For an 18th level quest?!? I thought this quest was supposed to have improved. Boy, was I wrong!

The good news is, the final wave isn't such a massive nightmare anymore. It's much more manageable now. But the loot definitely did not match my expectations.

Yeah, they should at least add the silver weapons to this version so that we don't have to farm hard.

The nicest thing about Devil's Assault is the raid now attached to it. Some of the loot in that mutha is killer for its level. I've already decked out one of my toons with a bunch of the unique stuff and it is quite awesome, especially as TR gear.

Really?! I was thinking the Shroud ingredients (I've also heard rumors of Shavarath boot ingredients appearing) only came from epic chests.

That is good news. Noone in my group got anything near that good. It was all vendor trash.

Better CR loots than you're speaking of, for sure.

And - and - Red Augment Crystal of Devil's Ruin. Yes, on Elite. The person who pulled it was a level 18 Cleric.

Then.. the next run we did, we got skunked XD So its all luck of the draw, yanno?

End rewards are still not tied to difficulty on which the quest was run. Therefore even on elite the quest end rewards are for a level SIX quest.

IIRC, before the update only the normal was lvl 6. On hard it scaled to 12 and elite to 18. I could be wrong, but I think that was the progression for this quest only.

That is the cortect progression. End rewards are based on normal completion regardless of the actual difficulty selected. So your level 18 elite run will give you a level 6 end reward.

Elite does drop Shroud larges, but not often.

I've seen loot gems, xp pots, guild renown pots, astral diamonds, +2 tomes, shroud larges, and shards of power come out of it.

Your luck just sucks... sorry... It's a short quest and it's dropping good stuff for how easy it is.

Well it's certainly good on epic. I got 2 small, 4 large shroud ingredients + devil's keepsake and various vendor trash.

Only done once since change. medium devil scales and devil's keepsake for me.
