    Default Epic Docent of Shadow

    Hi all I was thinking of TR'ing my drow sorc into a WF Palemaster, and was wondering with the Mabar festival collectables I will have enough to make one epic item and should I use it to craft the docent of shadow or use the ing on another toon to craft the cloak or something else.

    Guess I just wanted to know where to put my resources because as much fun as killing undead forever in Deleras is I dont plan on running it 24/7 to farm for the next 3 days.

    The docent is nice for a palemaster, but archmage is so redonkulously good I don't understand why any warforged who can already self-heal would ever make a palemaster.

    It's not an item I would make a priority. The epic docent is a warforged's only option for "Boon of Undeath" (Undead are healed when hit) if that interests you.

    The problem I have with this item is that it's only really good once made epic. And once you're 20, Necro is pretty much useless. At 20 there few reasons to stay Pale master and not go Archmage.

    Also in response to a comment about warforges, WF PM is more than viable for everything before Amrath. FoD and Wail rule anything 12-18, and allow you to zerg quests with ease.

    Docent is nice, but I don't see it being usefull for a lvl 20 running epics and raiding.

    Don't knock pale masters. 12 pale masters can each heal each other with their death auras. You simply can't kill them when together like that. And if they summon arcanes for 12 more death auras....

    The big difference that I see between pale masters and archamgi is that while archmagi get more sp, their spell like abilities also use up sp. Pale master can necrotic blast all day.
