    Unhappy Merge subscriptions

    2 days ago I emailed turbine and said:
    I have a free account with 2 subscriptions. I don't know why there's 2, but there has been 2 since the last patch so I've made characters on both. If I upgrade to VIP Wednesday will you merge my 2 subscriptions?

    Turbine responds:

    "Greetings Mike,
    Thank you for your inquiry. We do apologize but we can merge/combine subscriptions on one account."

    So I pay for VIP today, and they email back:

    "Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, it is not possible to merge or combine accounts or subscriptions."

    ***?
    Now they won't respond.

    They probably haven't had a chance to respond again.

    It actually doesn't matter what status your subscriptions are. At this time it is not technically possible for us to merge subscriptions/accounts. We also cannot move characters. These are technical limitations, because the system was not designed with either of those types of changes in mind.

    I am certainly happy to pass along your interest in the ability to merge subscriptions or move characters. However, it is not possible to do either at this time.

    It looks like there may have been a typo in the first email sent to you. It probably should have been can't instead of can.
