Default Two Weapon Fighting and Fist quick question

I am new to the monk and have a question. I see a lot of monks with 2 weapon fighting, improved 2 weapon fighting and so on in their builds. My question is: does the 2 weapon fighting feat(s) affect unarmed combat, and if so, what are the benefits for unarmed combat and this feat line?

Or do people just take the 2 weapon fighting feats to dual wield kamas or something?

Thank you ahead of time for your time and advice, Thanx!

    Smile double handed

As far as I know, two weaponfighting stacks with unarmed combat. . though there is probably someone who can explain better.

It was fixed to give you more attacks with your unarmed attacks, BUT:

It's been altered last few updates, so I'm not really sure now.

*sigh* just take it and be a good monk

Without the TWF feats, a monk will do 100% main hand/20% offhand attacks when fighting unarmed.

Each TWF feat adds 20% to the offhand chance. This ends up maxing out at 80% offhand proc chance. This will also cause ki strikes of all sorts, minus the Shintao smite, to double proc 80% of the time.

Get the TWF feats is the moral of the story.
