Can't get arcane archer while drow ranger 6

Hi there.
Here is my problem. I have decided to reroll in order to become arcane archer.
I built a ranger drow in this way (stats 14/16/12/14/14/10).
Feats : Thoughness (level 1) Point blank shot (level 3) Weapon Focus Ranged (level 6).
I have now all the prerequisites enhancements and feats except Mental Thoughness.

So I went to see Fred in order to exchange Thoughness for Mental Thoughness...
But it doesn't appear in the list !

I am pretty fu... up :/

So can anyome tell me why I can't pick "Arcane Archer " ?
I have all the prerequisites written in white ... I have picked the enchancement who gave rangers + 10 mana spells, similar to bard, sorcerer and wizard one ... but it does not work.

Mental toughness becomes availbe at lvl 4, which means it would be, in your build, available at lvl 6 at earliest.

You'll have to swap Weapon Focus Ranged for MT

When you picked toughness, you were either a level 1 or level 3 ranger. Either way, you had no spell points, and could not have chosen mental toughness. You can only have chosen it at level 6. That's the feat you'll have to swap.

So either swap weapon focus for mental toughness, and then toughness for weapon focus, or wait until level 9 (I recommend this).

The reason you can't become an Arcane archer is because you lack Mental Toughness.

You need to be able to cast spells to take the feat Mental Toughness. A Ranger can cast spells from lvl 4.
You took toughness at lvl 1 and therefore you can't swap it for mental toughness, because you could not cast spells at lvl 1.

So you have to swap your lvl 6 feat to get mental toughness.

As far as I can see, you need to swap twice to be able to be an arcane archer. First swap Weapon Focus Ranged for Mental Toughness, and afterwards swap toughness for weapon focus ranged.
Or you can wait til lvl 9 and take mental toughness there and then become an arcane archer.

I swear you can change 2 feats back to back if the first one is the quest awarded one from the Dragonmark NPC. I know I have done this in the last 6 months but can't remember exactly how.
