Default Remove radiant servant healing aura from the combat log

The spam from the healing aura completely fills up a cleric's combat log and makes it impossible to monitor your combat, even after the battle is over. It's not too convenient for the people being healed, either. This feedback is of no benefit whatever to the players. Please change the healing aura so that it does not enter into the combat messaging.

There certainly should be a way to take out any feedback you don't want, and combat should be broken down into various parts, not just lumping everything that happens in a given combat into one category.

Now, is this worth the time and effort? Maybe. Its more convenience though....

and let us dump all combat log into files so they could be processed if we want to. a timestamp of some sorts would greatly help there too.

    no more fraps swing counting...

I would like to see the combat tab have separate UI selections for melee damage, healing, effects being spammed etc. This could assist in lessening lag because if I am not interested in knowing about most of that information, I could turn it off. I can still see the green numbers above peoples heads when the radiant servant aura ticks its healing, but I would not require a log entry to be delivered each time this happens.

As a side note, this will also assist the number crunching, DPS flow chart presenting, min maxer crowd, because they can parse the numbers they want and not deal with the other spam. If the combat log has the ability to keep x number of entries at a time before dropping them due to exceeding the limitation, every single entry will be a melee DPS hit for instance. So if the log has a 500 entry limit (per se) the min maxers could analyze their toons over a 500 swing period. I would be interested to have this because I am interested to compare the actual results to a vacuum calculation.

I think the suggestion to have a constant output to txt file is still the most elegant solution.

Then you can use a parser (that i'm sure would be available 6.9 seconds after the update) to tell you all the parsed data!

At the same time, I feel your pain. The combat log is too short as it is and you lose data quickly with all the aoe heals.

There are some options in the Gameplay settings area that controls what goes into your combat log. I think the incoming/outgoing healing is one of them

I think it would be cool to have a drop down menu for the combat log.
Like there is for the different kind of texts shown in the chat boxes.
That way each player can edit what they want seen.

However, I would put this WAY down on the list of things to change.
