Seriously? Sorcerers get the same advantage with char pots. And you have done Amarath quests and some end game stuff? Good luck trying to stay out of harms way.

The Reality- Those kobolds in Water Works won’t have a chance but nothing else cares-Learn to play your build and all its abilities in actual difficult content, get gear and reaper points in level 30+ content and raids.

I'm assuming they've done this because of the fact that Wiz dc's are through the roof compaired to sorc's dc's. The +1 dc to a dc thats already 40+ Helps out alot more then +1 dc to a dc of like 37 if your lucky as a drow sorc.

With PM yea your getting a high Insta kill dc but lots of good thats doing u in Epic. I think they were thinking ahead on this one... Take a full ench speced Archmage WF in epic. put his ench dc's at 40 and pretty much nothings saving. Now add +1 to that and u can cast a mass hold or dancing sphere and pretty much go afk. start throwing other gears and ship buffs in the mix and you could easly get that to 42-44 dc. But for that your paying with the chance to now get crited for some stupid amount of dmg.

They give the - to fort just to help keep in check dc builds that can focus their efforts on spell lines that are more End game/epic focused.

    totally agree

true, 50% fort can work for a wis in epic assuming he does his kiting, standing back, and what not.

however, the fact remains that the comparable pot, CHA, for sorc has a -4 fort save check (with +8 for fort saves against poison), which has a minor minor effect on play.

i think the int pot should have something similar like: -4 to wis save check (+8 to something)

I would gladly take a flat -8 to fort saves with no side benefit...
