Swaping Dilettante?

So um...I took the fighter diletante on a half elf pally DoS thinking by the description this was going to be a free feat for tower shield proficiency, but I was wrong. It grants martial weapon proficiency which I already have, and says "and for item use purposes, you count as a level one fighter," so I was thinking that would cover tower shields. Anyway, I'm wanting to exchange it for another dilettante feat, but Fred gives no option for that feat. Anyone know how to exchange them yet, is it by respec or what?

So what's good to take on a Defender of Siberys build? The only thing that looks halfway appetizing is Barbarian for the damage reduction, or sorcerer for the extra spell points and use of wands *I think?* but I'm going for UMD since it should be fairly easy to get it decent, so does sorc even help? I don't know, so many questions that come with half elves. Also, what is the favored soul one? It says divine favor has rubbed off on you, so is that the actual spell? The barbarian one seems like a safe bet being that it gives dr and possibly stacking dr in the future levels, but will it stack with blocking dr from the DoS PrE, and it could come with rage stuff too, which works against ac. Also, the sorc one looks decent for the extra sp, and I guess there are some scrolls/wands at high levels that could be appealing to a DoS.

The Barbarian DR is only DR1/-, and it does not stack. Currently, there are no future levels, it's just whatever the feat grants.

Sorc gives access to arcane wands, same as Wizard. Favored Soul and Cleric give access to divine wands, which are largely already given to the Paladin. IMO, Sorc for earlier use of wands (rather than higher level where you get the UMD up enough) or Rogue for additional 1d6 SA damage are best.

For a DoS I'd look at the Rogue Dilettante, although the 13 DEX requirement may not be workable in your build, with Pallys being so multi-attribute dependant already.

So you can't swap them using Fred?? That seems like it should be changed to me.

I submitted a ticket about this and the admin told me that I should submit a bug report. That is all I can say as far as confirming it. I took paladin and want to take sorc so my healer without UMD can use repair wands.

I'm sure Turbine will update Fred next update to include Race-specific feats.

yeah, have the same problem... took pally and bard dilletante, but the fascinate is imho not worth it, unless u cant spend skillpoints for perform, so i thought about changing it to sorc for the more diffrent available wands then.

hope they fix it soon
