    Default "sorry, no half orcs"

While leveling up my half orc the other day I saw on Orien in the LFG list "Harbor quests level 4 - 7, sorry no half orcs" I know we make the Warforged seem like small puny wimps but never seen this kind of toonism in DDO before.

Can't we all just get along?

The halfling and warforged seem to have come to grips with each other and warforged have stopped trying to eat them, why can't people get along with half orcs? Is it how they look? personally I think the Drow are the most ugly race in DDO close to half elf but golly, its only pixels.

After talking to someone who actually plays PNP she advised that all half orcs should be killed on sight and also has a aversion to them, whats the deal?

Easy to see from someone who played PnP. They probably roleplayed a lot, and to them H-Orcs are evil.

As for the LFM, maybe they have grouped with too many 12 yr old H-Orcs, and don't want to risk another bad run? Who knows why some people exclude who they do in LFM's

Didn't the DM warn you this kind of thing would happen if you played a horc?

Every group I've been in leveling my big n' ugly has had 2,3 or 4 horcs.(on Ghallanda)
BONGO FURY - Ghallanda - Thingfish - Wizard, Diuni - Ninja, Gheale - Angel, Dullknife - Tank, Noodlefish - Gimp, Jaquaby - Treacherous and other gimps.

We all know Orien is special.

Most of these confused LFMs (like looking for DPS but excluding rangers) are from people who don't understand the game. Perhaps this leader was convinced that horcs would work very hard to hurt themselves for the bonus str hp thresholds.

No orcs lfms don't seem to be common so far, half-orcs still new but promising.

But orien is slowly changing, with less of the 'not enough dps' nonsense.
Arcane archers are proving weekly they can solo harry, without the 'sure you can' denies.
Or rogues can pull one rounders to make up for the nonstop heals, etc.

We need to act, as a Horc player myself I feel your pain with you! We must stand up, united in our war on the racism that plauges our ... race.

I have a dream that one day, down in Orien, with its vicious racists that little Horc boys and Horc girls will be able to join hands with little Helf boys and Helf girls as sisters and brothers.
    I have a dream today!

"Sorry, no Half-orcs: I actually want to kill something in melee before it gets OMGPWNED"

Too long to fit in the LFM.

I actually understand the sentiment, I was feeling like this on Thelanis the other day. Then I made peace with it and embraced my inner piker. It was good.

Maybe if they weren't so tragically cartoony and lame looking.

Half orcs are the new Mexicans. We have to just let the public wear themselves out, and when people stop paying attention, take terrible, terrible vengeance upon them.

My WF toons have stopped trying to eat halflings, yes. Mostly because a) they're too small to even be called a snack, and b) the nasty little buggers tend to fight dirty and stick pointy things right up my...

Anyway, I've called a truce with them.

    Default no half-orcs

Running STK the other day with a PUG, I was grinding my PM-spec Wizard up to a whopping level 5. The HO in the party continued to activate his ADHD clickie, running ahead and dying (or causing all healing to be directed his way. Is this player ADHD, char ADHD, or just the fact that RL players finally have a toon that fits their Full Throttle-fueled blind rampage playing style?

Take the finesse and thought from the game and viola, you gots da HO.

    Enjoy, former 'scapers!

    (I kid of course, right?)

There's finesse and thought left in this game?
