Building a half-orc casting cleric with maxed out wisdom, but also weilding a Min II greataxe... TRing from a wizard, so I'll have a bonus +2 spell pen (very nice)
Shooting for maxed out caster cleric (max wisdom), but who also starts with an 18 STR, and can play around in melee in normal/hard content with the half-orc bonuses, and Power Attack.
I was going to go 18/2 cleric/fighter, but that doesn't really work with the feats I want...
Toughness
Empower Healing
Maximize
Quicken
Heighten
Extend
Spell Pen
Greater Spell Pen
Power Attack
The only feat in that list that a fighter can take for his bonus feat is Power Attack
So I thought about giving up Extend and just going 19/1 cleric/fighter...
Then I thought about 18/1/1 cleric/fighter/monk to get toughness as a monk bonus feat... But all the monk level gets me is that extra feat... I'll never be centered using a Greataxe (plus I have an exceptional wisdom +3 shroud item that's a dwarven axe)... So all I get is Extend and I lose some SP... Not really worth it.
But then I thought of a 18/1/1 cleric/fighter/wizard... Yes, it looks stupid at first glance... but I think it's better than 19/1 cleric/fighter...
I lose one 7th level spell and one 9th level spell... but I already get 5 and 3 at level 18.. I don't see anything that I'm missing...
I gain 3 first level wizard spells (Jump, Exp Retreat, Detect Secret Doors - decent for a cleric, especially while leveling)... and I get my free meta-magik feat, so I get to keep Extend.
I think I'll get about the same SP with 18/1/1 cleric/fighter/wizard as 19/1 cleric/fighter... Anyone know for sure?
So instead of solid looking 19/1 half-orc cleric/fighter, I'll have a crazy looking 18/1/1 cleric/fighter/wizard, but I think the second choice might be the better one.
Thoughts?
