I have seen the new Air Elemental summon at work and it kicks ass literally. I am wondering which is better a Herzou or the Air Elemental? I am tempted to switch out Summon IV for for Summon VIII since the Ghale and Fire Elemental is kinda useless compared to Air Elemental. Anyone else had fun with the summons and want to share what are good about them?

Yes! Yes! I've been waiting for someone to ask me.

air elemental seemed really nice, ghaele eladrin was an excellent choice also, and at very low levels i have found the rat to be a good choice. almost tempting to make a summon-specialised wizard with pale master and take mostly summons and buffs for them

How do you get this air elemental? pardon me for not being on in the last 5 days. I kept on seeing all this stuff about how lame the arch mage is, even though its brand new. But I heard rumors about fire elementals and air elementals, whats this all about? can a free to play member get them or are they subscriber only?

Devils feels too squishy but that's just them keeping all the aggro off you.
Sometimes beardy wanders off to kill things and you never see them again.
Nothing that repeated castings can't fix of course, it's sp well spent.

I find the air ele makes things a breeze
oh come on, that was a good pun.
More seriously, my TR duo parter and I find running with the air elemental to be pretty awesome. The telekenesis seems to be pretty effective even in amrath. I'll be interested in trying it out in epics when i'm back to 20 again. I have high hopes for it against the golems in wizzy king. His telekenetic attack seems to be cleaving, or a small radius aoe.
I've found situational use from the orthon. he's great in situations where everything is throwing out almost exclusively fire damage. His dps is terrible though.
Fire ele shows some potential amusement as a floating fireball turret. Might be interesting for throwing out some resource efficient aoe.
