LF hip and groovy people to run with ... beware, I'm a newb

Hey Khyber,

I've got a crazy work schedule until winter sets in (days/nights ... "weekends" all over the place), and am having a hell of a time finding reliable people to run with. I'm holding on to our little 3-man guild for Juliette, while she takes a break to deal with some RL stuff, so joining another guild is out for now.

I'm hoping to gather up a large enough group of people to run with that I might find someone any day, any time.

I'm working on a bunch of characters, moving them all from lvl 9 to 12 atm. If anyone's in the same range, and doesn't mind "teaching" a bit from time to time (bear in mind that I'm only geared in what I have found thus far, so mostly normal/hard runs), send me a pm so I can add you to my friend list, or just pm/email me in-game ... all of my character names are in my sig.

My goal is to learn the quests so that I can run with the "big boys" (and girls ... girls would be better, actually) someday, and have therefore been soloing mostly up until now. That's all well and good, but playing with myself is starting to get a bit tiresome ... I've even resorted to using my left hand, if you get my drift...

I'll be working on Edumacashun for the next few days, and will post changes here.

Soloing? why not join a pug or 2? bards esp are welcome i get random invites on mine all the time. Pugs can be perilious though, but its a good way to meet people then get to know them so you got people you like to run with, so it becomes less risky. Also might be a good way to get to know people and maybe get invited into a good guild that suits your playstlye.

If you need some help at random times, putting up lfm's is the best bet. And right now Level 9-12 is a tough spot because of all the folks TRing. If you need some advice on quests, and you see me on one of my higher level chars (all in sig) feel free to shoot me a /t and I'll offer up what strategies I can to help ya out. And if I'm free I'll even swap over to someone in an effort to help. Please note, that I will not be around all that often to run with, but I'm willing to lend a hand when I can. Have been pugging, and yes, it has been perilous. I find it's more efficient for me to solo, but not as interesting. I have met people, yes. My crazy schedule makes it hard to develop relationships, however,so I'm hoping to find others with erratic schedules, or constant players perhaps. I'm looking for the DDO mob-killing version of casual sex. When it happens, it happens, and, given a big enough pool of partners, it's happening all the time.

As far as learning stuff, I'm pretty much talking about raids like Demon Queen, Reaver's, TOD, etc.
I've got the flag quests pretty much down below Gianthold, and will be banging away at that one on the next cycle through my toons (13-15).
Gotta run with ppl on easier stuff, it seems, to show I'm just a newb, and not a noob.

Will do! I have some higher level toons also, but am catching up the lower ones to make some rooms in banks ... and to really, really learn the quests/classes as I go. I'll give you a holler when I get back on the big 'uns.

it simple really, we run it fast but open slots for people to get free xp and loot. they are welcomed for multiple runs if they do not get ahead of themselves and die

My guild plays Sundays and usually Wednesdays in a static group, we're levels 6-9 at the moment. You're welcome to join in if you see me on.

Only problem is, we're not grip and hoovy, we're too noob for that!

Lol ... fabulous! Atm, I'm on Sunday mornings (GMT -8), and Wednesday evenings. All subject to change, of course. I will look you up though for sure. Once it starts snowing, I start working weekdays (thank goodness, at last), alternating mornings/nights every week. That will definitely work out with your Sunday group, and I will probably still be leveling up the lowbies from 9-12.

Bah it's not the HD! After buying a new hd and windows 7, spending couple of hundreds, I still get the same problem.... Now... I remembered I seen it before.... Failing mem chips on the motherboard and possibly dying cpu
