    Default Shroud easier?

I've only run 2 since the update, and both with fairly high dps groups, but it seemed like both the lieutenants and arraetrikos went down much faster than they used to. The blades weren't even close to being in, and in part 5 I didn't have time to dump half my sorcs mana before he was down. Now I'd love to think this is because of my uber sorc and his fancy new eardweller, but is anyone else noticing arraetrikos' hp being a lot lower?

    I had 3 runs.

    Portals went down fast.

Harry died in 1 round. I've had 1 rounders before, just not this fast, all 3 times.

    I had been wondering myself.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.

maybe it's just a side effect of their attack against the lag monster?

By chance did you have a light monk using Jade Strike and/or a Warchanter using Inspire Recklessness?

It must be the Poke of Death nerf.

I haven't noticed any changes in shroud runs since the update. One person actually felt that DPS was a bit lower than usual, but mine seems unaffected since U7.
    Have a nice day!

And just to follow up on this, I've got a str-based monk. Jade strike didn't land often but when it did I saw some hits in the 130-140 range (first number only...I don't have time to add up all those extra damage splashes ). Normally I rarely get over the 110'ish mark. I'm going to pick up the highest tier of Wind Strike rather than just staying in Fire all the time specifically because of Jade Strike...it's just that good when it lands. It's too bad you have to hit things in order to get ki or land Jade Strike...otherwise I'd dump some str for even more wisdom.

    Default probably just players

I'm guessing your perceived increased speed was more likely due to avid (well built/played/geared) players with good machines that are the type to have updated and logged into Shroud already since the Update.

Last night in Shroud, enemies didn't seem to me to have fewer HP than they normally do.

I wasn't grouping with players I don't normally group with, this was, outside of inspire recklessness, the same as any other shroud run before update 7.

Only done one so far since the update.

Portal DPS for our group seemed lower. I was actually a bit worried. Then we pretty well cleaned up part 2 handily, skated through part 3 and surprised ourselves by one-rounding part 4.

Biggest benefits so far in the update:
    - We were a multi-bard party - one Spellsinger, one Warchanter. The Spellsong Vigor or whatever made it so my Warchanter basically had enough SP to stand in the melee swinging and occasionally tossing a mass cure mod without missing a beat or really even dropping SP.
    - Not having to rage individuals meant I had plenty of SP as well.
    - I think my slight DPS drop by healing was more than made up for by the Recklessness song. We used it in each part and didn't seem to have problems.
    - Having that SP song made SP regen in parts 2, 3 and 5 far more tolerable. Less time jumping in a tree or running across the corner of a pool = less cheese.

I do think I am seeing some aggro-pulling differences though ... both in VoD and Shroud. The bosses seem to be searching more, hitting other targets. Not sure if anyone else is seeing something similar.

I'm also pretty positive the slow-boss things are still working. I was swinging a Holy-Silver-Tendon Slice greatsword and Harry was also exhausted - and his animations slowed.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

I've done 3 shrouds since the update. One of them I healed so I really didn't pay attention much to the speed...I'm pretty much autopilot on them healing at this point...buff up, dual wield boss, spam mass heal, hit other masses as needed, rinse/repeat. I know no one died and I never got nervous.

On my light monk we had a bad portal section (really slow) and a squeaker of a two-rounder in p4. I did manage to get a Jade Strike to stick in P5 and that's when I saw the really big damage numbers.

On my warchanter we had an absolute demolition. Portals were like butter, we screwed up p2 once but the dps was so good that when everything came back we just killed them in seconds. P4 was a squeaker but still a one-rounder. Would have been an easier 1-rounder if I had been using a dps weapon instead of my +2 holy great axe of tendon slice 10% (which DOES still work to confirm what you'd mentioned) but the healers would have worked harder. I kept Inspire Recklessness up the entire time as well so we were getting a good boost to dps from that.

Now if they'd just fix this for the Warforged.

Yeah, in part 5 he kept getting mad at my evoker favored soul who wasn't evoking at the time. I'm sorry, but there's no way he could have noticed the laughable damage I was doing with my dual longswords, no twf feats, no PA, and a 20str after divine power.

I haven't run Shroud since the update, but definitely noted some weird boss behaviour in VoD last night. Posted a thread about it here, but don't think anyone has responded yet: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=281553

Aside from dark monks, players have higher damage and saving throws than they did before the patch. They now get Rage, Prayer, and Recitation added to them properly. (If the casters have remembered to start using those spells again)
