They are either completely broke or need an update to their description..

when an epic monster saves against them they take no damage.. making this a completely useless spell seeing they save constantly and even at 1 and 5 spell points is a complete waste to have.

Yup, all those critters with Evasion will pretty much ignore it.

Still, it's not too late to respec to Pale Master.
