Arcane Blast thinks its a fire ball?

Arcane blast from the Arc mage pre acts like a fire ball, it ignites grease and breaks webs. Is that working as intended?

Just to toss out there, Necrotic Blast (Pale Master III's Update 7 ability) suffers from the same issue. It starts out with a Fireball sound effect when launched, breaks webs, and displays bits of fire when the web combusts from the necrotic energy.

Both appear to be suffering from an incomplete set of changes from their starting fireball template, much like the original Acid Blast.

When I looked at PMIII in the enhancements list, I did not see Necrotic Blast attached to it in the same way that Necrotic Touch and Necrotic Bolt were attached to PMI and PMII respectively.

I avoided taking PMIII because I didn't think Blast made it into the game yet. Is it located somewhere else in the enhancement list?

Now I'll have to respec again. =P

I am 100% positive I looked last night at the enhancement list and it did not have the expandable option for PMIII.

You're not the only one gurgar78, when i was looking at the enhancements lists yesterday it didn't have that in the description of Pale master III.

Figured out what it was for me.

If you go into your character sheet, check your enhancements and check the box to view unavailable so that you can see all the enhancements, the expandable option will not show for PMIII, at least not if you don't actually HAVE the enhancement. However, when I redid my enhancements last night and actually took the PMIII enhancement from the list, it was there.
