    Hey Grodon

I saw this post on forum, would like to konw if you have a cap one, cause i heard a LOT about the exploiter (meaningfull AC, great DPS, yadyada) but if i do the math quick: your propostion seem to be better (5d6 each hand per strike!) Anyway, keep me posted please.

Also, not sure if a dwarf using Dwarven axe wouldn't do better?

    Thanks

12/7/1 has more DPS when you don't have aggro. I solo a lot with mine and tank raid-bosses so I can't rely on SA all the time. Both are good choices, I'm sue I'll eventually try one of each.

    12 Fighter/ 6 Barbarian / 2 Ranger

With all those half orc extra action boosts, and kensai extra action boosts you're +8 Strength surge will be going almost indefinitely, and Dual Wielding Khopeshes it'll be sick.

    Potential Strength Breakdown (With buffs)
    20 Base
    +05 Levels
    +03 Tome
    +02 Racial Enhance
    +03 Class Enhance
    +06 Item
    +04 Rage
    +02 Frenzy
+02 Power Rage (Horc and barb)
    +02 Rage Spell
    +04 Madstone Rage
    +08 Power Surge
    +03 Exceptional (Green Steel/Epic)
    _____________________________
    64, Fairly sustainable.

+ to Damage Main Hand (Green Steel Khopesh):
    +05 Weapon
    +27 Strength
    +04 Specializations
    +02 Kensai Enhances
+07 Power Attack (With racial enhances)
    _______________________________________
    +43 Main Hand
Of hand should sit at 43-14= 29.

And I know I'm probably missing some stuff in there.

Ranger 12/Rogue 7/Monk1 (for the feat more than anything else)

You're on your own for APs until the character planner gets updated, but a quick and dirty . . .

    S 19
    D 13
    C 14
    I 10
    W 10
    C 6

All level-ups in STR, ENH in DEX and STR where appropriate, +2 tomes, +6 stat items. Bland, generic gear . .

    S 36
    D 24
    C 22
    I 12
    W 18
    C 8

That STR is just with Ram's might. With a +7 item (or +3 Tome), +3 Exceptional, Rage, Madstone, Yugo and Airship that'll hit 48

    Feats:

    1 Dodge
    3 Mobility
    6 Spring Attack
    9 IC Slashing
12 Khopesh (Use other weapons leveling up)
    13 Toughness (Monk feat)
    15 Power Attack
18 OTWF (with -8 Power attack, you're gonna need it)

    Self buffable AC:

    10 Base
    1 Dodge
    4 Icy Raiments Dodge
    1 Alchemical Dodge
    4 Wisdom
    7 Dexterity
    4 Insight (Shroud Crafted)
    5 Protection
    5 Barkskin
    8 Armor Bracers
    4 UMD Shield Wand
    1 Haste

54 - not horrible, you'll be fine in the Vale and Reavers Refuge. I took the Monk level for the Extra feat, if you don't have monk you can go fighter for the same thing.

DPS potential is high, with a ton of ubber gear (and let's face it, all DPS calcs pad the numbers with tons of ubber gear). With dual lighting II Khopeshes, tharnes, normal Bloodstone, Ravager and Shintao sets DPS comes out to 562 in a over a 5 minute period (366 against BFDs). This is of course against Favored Enemies, it's 517 against non-FEs (which still blows my Exploiter out of the water againsts FEs).

Unless I calc'd wrong, that beats Fighter 12/Rogue 7/Monk 1 (I'm getting 526 with equal gear). Why does it beat it? The haste-boost gap isn't nearly as large. The Ranger 12/7/1 still gets 25% haste boosts. Also with 100% off-hand attack everything with effects (sneak attack, chance of lightning Strike, elemental/ravager effects) get more swings to proc.

I literally just pulled this out of my rectum (those tusks hurt . . .) so a real builder could probably refine it to make it teh ubb3r.

Also the HP will be a little lite.

Thanks again Grodon you have been great help! This his what i wanted a DPS, TWF ranger that's actually menaingfull in end game. I saw a lot of multi class, min- max build that can't DPS a freaking kobold. This guy will rock, and beat the "Exploiter" so even better...
For the HP, could start at 18 STR, and 16 CON...
Now, let's create my TWF owning orc machine

    BTW +1 rep Grodon

Grodon - What class would be taken at each level? I have never done a ranger multi-class before.

You take Rogue at first level, Monk is often around 8 or 9, and I would just spread out the other 6 rogue levels fairly evenly (with last level also as Rogue). That'll allow you to do good 'catch-up' on skill points for rogue skills on those rogue levels. So perhaps, Rogue at 1st - 4th - 7th - 10th - 13th - 17th - 20th, with monk at 8th?

Thanks for the quick reply. Happy New Year and good luck leveling.
