The game managed to patch with no problem on my old piece of junk running winXP. My hubbys nearly as old piece of junk, dual core running winXP 64 bit, ran into an error 5 seconds after starting the launcher. This is the gist of what it says:
An error occurred trying to copy a file
\APR2007_d3dx9_33_x86.cab
The source file is corrupted
So what is this? He already downloaded the latest directX directly from microsoft. Rebooted several times. What can be done?
