I'm assuming you guys are working on fixing the issue so that we can go back to the DX10 graphics? Or am I assuming too much?

Is this an Intel "CPU/Chipset" specific issue or an Intel "Integrated GPU" issue?

AMD X2 and ATI card, so no intel issue
have DX11, but it looked like the update run first a DX9 install [why???], restarted launcher
then installed the main update package
then the DDO launcher looked like installing DX9 again ***??
and brought the error..

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but after booting up the client and downloading the new material today I tried to log in to play. Took my client a while to connect, but it did and the screen where I should have been able to see my characters was black, entirely so, so much that there was nothing in the main window to see. The character menu down the side was visible however, so I selected one of them and hit Enter. At which point I got the "Welcome to Eberron" loading screen adn thats all I saw, that screen sitting there doing nothing, as the status bar did not move at all. I've tried several times now (and with different characters) and each time the exact same result.

If a Dev is reading this please help as I truly have no idea what to do to resolve this issue.

I was about to post the same issue... but seems other people are experiencing the same things! Must be the content!

Maybe we have to download the higher quality version of the game to view the characters and get past the loading screen?

I was able to download the update. when I went to play, said missing an exe file to redownload or reinstall. I do both and now unable to update at all.

sadly i see way to much of this. i play several online games. time to cancel account.
