    Default Improved disruption

Improved disruption is a pretty unpopular weapon augment. How about changing it to do damage, along the same lines as other tier III green steel effects, against undead? 2% chance to do several hundred damage to undead targets. That would make it a more useful property since you could use it on non-disruptable mobs.

5% chance to trigger a high level sunburst would make sense. Could make a nice new ooze beater too.

I personally almost never see it go off. When it does though, it goes off on 2-3 bad guys in a row. I use a triple pos most of the time on my paladin as well. Personally, I don't ever count on it....if you want to disrupt something, it is better to use a regular disruption weapon as they have a 5% chance to fail the save vs the "supposed" ~2% of greater disruption. My main use for the triple pos is the burst damage on a khopesh....around every 4th swing ~10-16d6 points of damage with a crit multipler of x3 is nice.

Improved/Greater Disruption contrasted with Disruption needs

    • A higher DC
    • Proc on every hit, or an even higher DC
    • Saves = Damage instead of Saves = Nothing

Regular disruptors are forged and are from the Prime Material Plane. Greater Disruptors are made from extra-planar resources and imbued with the powers of Positive Plane itself.

As- is they are completely unspectacular and inferior in performance compared to regular disruption.

I could never figure out why they called it "greater disruption" sure it has "no" save but the proc rate is far less than regular disruption ... thus regular disruption is far greater - even with the save - 1 in 20 on average vs 1 in 33.3 <- The 13.3 extra attacks on average generally mean you will often dps the mob to death before it goes off.
