A while back I saw a lfm asking only for 'players who knew the quest' for Faithful Departed. When I joined the group, the leader asked if I knew the quest because he hadn't played it yet. I knew it was a bad omen, but figured everyone had to learn at some point, so I stayed.
When we entered the forest the leader got lost, and when he died he got mad at the rest of the group.
That about sums it up, lol.
I do not see any issue with players starting thier own groups. New, old, it does not matter.
If you are the type of gamer that doens't like surprises, and wants to see good leadership, then start your own group. It is one thing to determine who you want in your OWN group, but to determine how a group is formed, and run, when you dont' have the star, is not your choice.
If you want the power, hold the star. Start your own group.

I remember that lfm! I wanted to pst the leader because my spelling-OCD was kicking in, lol.
Uhh, I'm not going to get into the veteran vs. noob discussion, so that's all I have to say.
No deal OP
How else am I gonna get my gimps into groups if I dont lead them myself?
