Choosing races

Hi people , whats up ?

Hey my question is , when building a character , are there some races that are better for some classes ?
For example , for rogues , are elve's better than other races ? ( or other race it better than elve's for rogue ? )

If so , What would be the best races for each class ?
specialist -
melee -
sorcerer -
ranger
...

and for its subclasses .

yeah offcourse , rogue is a sub.class of the specialist lol . Most people forget that .

Humans are versatile
WF are easy mode
Drow are sexy
Elves can be arcane archers
Gnomes are small
Dwarves are strong

I think in general....

From an assassin standpoint......halflings are best
From a mechanic standpoint .....Drows are best
From a acrobats standpoint......Humans or WF'ed are best.

I may be slightly off on these tho.

Unless you are doing it for flavor or making an armored caster, arcane archer, or wizard who wants more SP....elves do not have much going for them.

No, specialist is not a class. Specialist is a silly subgrouping Turbine came up with for people that couldn't figure out the classes
