    Post Light Path Dwarf Monk?

    Hey!

    So, I've been lookin for a dwarf monk build.
    The only ones I can find are Dark Path/DPS focused tho... well, they were mostly WF builds, but from what I've read, you can adapt those builds for a dwarf without to much fuss.

    While I don't mind doing DPS, the support aspect of the light path really interests me.
    RP wise, I think it would suit a wise dwarf with a good heart. Nothing complicated.
    And so I was hoping that someone on this forum could help me with building one

    If possible, definetely not a must, I would love if he was able to use a Q-staff as main weapon.
    I know, it's supposedly a bad choice for melee, or well, a monk compared to wraps.
    And seeing that a LP monk focusin on support would already have lower dps I guess it only gets worse...
    But I don't really care if this characters is viable for Epic since I won't even try to get into raiding until
    Half-Orcs are here and I can get a Whirling Dervish thingy going, so if it's doable (doable as in "meh, it won't hurt,
    but you could do better", not "you really shouldn't do this!") that'd be great

    I got 32 point builds unlocked and buying tomes won't be a problem.

    If there are specific items I really should try to get my hands on, I won't mind grinding for them.
    As long as the places to get them are doable for this (gimped?) dwarf monk

    Thought i might have a bit of fun this this 1, can go handwraps or Q Staffs, for gotting Fist for if you use wraps as a back up, main stance will be fire for Str, but got lots of other options, i went DPS with Void IV to make you good at epics and can also do all the handy buffs very fast, but this will use alot of button Mashing and a decent Stunning fist DC (even though its for handwraps) also stunning fist is for shintao monk

    10 + 10 (half monk level) + 7 wisdom + 10 (stunning item) + 1 Dwarf Tactics = 38 stunning fist DC

    Thanks dude!

    I've got a dwarf monk with this build started now and so far he's pretty sturdy
    i'm just about to hit lvl 3, and then I can get on with lvling for real!

    improved twf must have 17 dex
    if you start with 14 dex...or you have a +3 tome or must level up one point in dex

    The build has Two Handed fighting feats, so no dex requirement. Having said that, even though the op asked for a Q-staff build, Two Handed Fighting on a monk is going to be sub-optimal.
