BUG: Death Aura, Shroud of the Lich

I have reported this a bug but wanted to give to the community for validation and information.

1. Use Shroud of the Lich, cast Death Aura. Healing is about 17 per tick.
2. Place a Superior Potency 6 item in hand and it goes up to 27.
3. Switch out the Superior Potency 6 item with a regular weapon or item and it goes back down to 17.
4. Use the Superior Efficacy 8 clickie on the Archmage Belt and it drops to 3 per tick.
5. Recast Death Aura while the Superior Efficacy 8 has time left and it jumps back to 27 per tick.
6. Switch weapons in your hand and it drops back to 17 per tick.

yup, switching items around or performing a melee attack will severely gimp your death aura
