The new Splashscreen is clearly uploaded improperly; if female half elves looked as good as the one in that screenshot, we would all be making them. Unfortunately, we have screenshots to prove it isn't so.

For the players that don't visit the forums they're going to see this...



and get excited over the look of Half-Elves.

However when a player proceeds to create a Half-Elf they'll see this...



and be disgusted as this is what they're getting instead.

in all seriousness, its not so bad that my eyes bleed. its just that they look so, bland.

they should be pretty dammit!

In all frankness, I really like how on half elves, changing the nose changes the entire facial structure (cheeks and cheekbones, jawline, etc).

Unfortunately, most of the configurations are pretty distorted. The example above is pretty fair: the nose is really small and the cheek space is really gigantic. The proportions are just wierd.

The actual underlying game features - the extra appearance customizability in face shape and etc - are awesome. The shapes themselves just need some refining.

I'd say she looks more like Jessica Biel, either way, I agree that she looks very familiar...
Yep, the Helves on the concept art are hot but in the game they are not, the opposite is true for Horcs however...
Final Thoughts: Helves are just plain unfinished.Period.

Helves in the game just look downright disgusting... Like this woman:

Dunno about J-Lo for the first splash screen but the other "fixed" splash screen that Meretrix posted is definitely inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker.
