    Default Your Favorite Current SciFi/Fantasy/Horror TV Show

    And one that hasn't been canceled.

    As of this post (Oct 13th, 2010) mine is a tie between Fringe and Caprica.

    What is your current favorite genre based TV show (SciFi/Fantasy/Horror) that the networks have left alone?

    I miss Heroes. I know many bailed on the show but I was invested in the characters anyway.

    They also nixed Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Grrr! Come on.

    And waaay back when in the old school days Farscape was ended, but that is an entire thread that needs to be started complaining about that. At least I can still drool over Claudia Black in movies and such. She was even a character in Biowares Dragon Age. *sigh* Claudia....

    Anyway, of the new stuff what do you like?

    I also like Fringe, but my favorite, and I really hate to admit it, is True Blood. I have On Demand and started watching old episodes of it one night to fall asleep to something. Now I watch it religiously.
    There is no lag. Just because you had none before and can't play now doesn't mean the server move had anything to do with it.

    Put me down for True Blood as well. I've never been a big horror fan (moreso fantasy) but I've got to give kudos to a show that can make me laugh AND scare the buhjeebers out of me...usually in the same episode.

    It's not Dark Shadows.....but then what is?

    any stargate is cool.

    although not exactly sci-fi or fantasy, I like psyche...its funny scary sometimes..boo

    I absolutely LOVE True Blood. This past season was great, and was a nice recovery from last season. I can't wait for the next one. Stargate Universe is my Favorite 2nd and this season is totally exciting. If you're looking for something off beat and really good, try Being Human. You can find it on BBC On Demand.

    No Ordinarly Family seems like ts gonna be good. Still developing, but definitly someting to keep an eye on.

    So many good SciFi shows this year.

    Sanctuary, Fringe, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Haven, and Caprica are my current top priorities on the DVR.

    My Two Fav's are Eureka
    and Fringe.

    Dr Who ranks right up there too, though Sadly...

    any stargate. Currently, they're re-airing sg-1 on a regional channel.
    So far, none of the channels aired universe yet, tho. :-(

    Have to say True Blood.

    Must say I have enjoyed the show so far. Only Gripe is that living in Australia it isn't shown on free to air T.V. Have to buy the DVD's or wait for the episodes to be shown on Pay TV.

    Stargate universe, eurkea, warehouse 13 so far for me.

    Also I watch it all on hulu, wife has the tv on reality shows.
