Hezrou Raid this friday

Yup! You heard it right, this is going to be an ALL HEZROU SAVAGE raid.

When? This Friday, 6pm PST (9 EST).

What? Like the title says, an all Hezrou raid...

Where? Sarlona of course!

Why? Because it ha never been done before (AFAIK).

How?

The details will be explained on Friday when party fills. This was attempted a few nights ago, but didn't make it out of part 2 - mostly becasue people couldn't decide how they wanted it to all go down. Also the Cat and Fire where there, making it more of a logistical nightmare.

I am looking for half the party FVS/CLR, and the other half WIZ/SOR.

- must have summon monster IX (scrolls don't count)
- must have mic + soundcard (so I know you're listening)
- don't drop out if it doesn't go your way - we are staying till the last man (or woman).
- portal beaters and Dr busters will get you priority in the raid, also "pure healers" are not what i'm looking for. you should at least be able to melee somewhat effectively.

If you are interested sign up by replying, and let me know what you will be using for gear (just for healers).

I will post the final raid party thursday night. Players will be R.S.V.P'd and guranteed a slot as long as they are online and confirmed by 5:30 (8:30) on Friday evening.

I'd be interested in joining with Precious (sorry about the other night - I was having difficulty keeping my tells separate), but the timing is bad. The kids don't go to bed until 8:30 (MT), and Friday nights the wife usually has me watching a movie with her.

But it sounds like fun...

I'm not on your server, but you've got me curious. Are you proposing a shroud where all the players summon hezrou, then hide and let them do it all?

Or is it an all caster/cleric raid, just with lots of hezrou?

lol just out of curiosity why dont the scrols count? Scrol summon is identical to a spell summon ... And if you want people with the spell that means a raid full of nothing but clerics and wizards cause fvs or sorc dont have room for a crapy lvl 9 spell that has no real use. So why?

scrolls don't count because you can't buy them, and I don't want someone showing up with like 5. There will be multiple summonings. And maybe you think summon monster IX is crappy, but let me tell you that my 18/2 Sor only has 1 level 9 spell and guess what it is? so am I dumb for picking it up? More usefull then you would think.

Stay on topic pls, not going to digress anymore.

If you explain the details more I could be tempted to bring my cleric. I just don't want to wait till Friday to find out the details and realize it's not something I want to do. I'd rather be able to give an answer now.

So Reaver's Fate or VoN?

Some tool summoned a Dense stone ele into shroud 5 and got the party almost wiped earlier. No idea if it would be better or worse than that.

Don't forget the people who love there loot and that hezrou will break crystals in part3.

Considering the number of repetitions that anyone who would be tempted to go on a fun-run like this would be certain to have, I think we can afford to skip 2 chests in the interest of hilarity

if your suggesting a all caster shroud with just some hezrou's then thats not really that bad we did that earlier this week on argo almost a total pug was real easy
if your suggesting only hezrou's can do damage and clrs have to heal them then gl with that

Yeah but could you imagine if it gets to part 4 if the gnolls would fill harry back up cause the hezrou won't play fair.

Anyone remember how many rounds he lasted in the level 16 Elite run back DDO:Stormreach?

If you had a wand of summon monster IX with over 30 charges on it i'd say yes.

Details? Gonna be a caster/healer shroud run on normal with a whole lot of smelly,hairy Hezrous.

We won't bring Hezrous out in part 3. If they are already summoned and break the crystals, oh well.. i'm not gonna cry about 2 chests.
