Dresek? Did you tell Kamimitsu about your breakables winner build? You said that was guild research private for a few months possibly years while it gets refined.

Also... +1 for noting what we're always thinking. You failed to mention wearing the Kundurak boots, casting grease and blaming it on the nearest wfged by asking "who's leaking"? If the others are slowed by the grease walk - you get to the kills faster.

It wasn't until I played a pure Rogue that I ever cared about kill count.

Once I saw that I could get the high kill count, I set my Rogue onto that path from then on out.

I don't worry about it to the point of kill stealing exactly, or in neglecting to assist others as needed. But I've been known to purposely go after a bunch of easy kills to pad my count if somone else is close.

    Traps. pfft.
It's something I do on the side. And if I ever see the whole party run through one without waiting, I'm done.

I do traps for you, not for me....I have evasion.

Let that /splash Rog guy get the traps...I'm too busy killing things.

Good advice....all. And in a very humerous way.

I always ignore hard targets and go for the easy kills.
But also go for the high value targets if I know I can take them out quickly. (assassinate)

My bio is completely full....no more room. full of those Orange names that I have eliminated from existance in one shot.

I've killed thousands of nameless minions in my time. You guys without name-tags have no chance: you should just lay down, right now!

For those of you with red name tags, who might survive long enough to agro on me, just turn back around...or I'll make you. And if you're lucky, you just might live long enough to curse my name...with your dying breath.

    Thumbs up bravo

+1 for demonstrating your excellent command of the game (Candy Land).

Oh and that DDO rogue stuff was jolly good too - exactly how my cleric loves them to play.

I bow before you, oh master of kill stealing. I will read this 42 times each night before going to sleep. I will have this post tatooed on my stomach so I can see it in the mirror each morning. I will have it as my desktop background.

You have outdone McGyver. There is no killstealer but Dresek and Dresek is his own prophet.

Ty for the strategy to squelch some of the rogue scapegoating. I've led the kill count in many, many quests since I rerolled for more hp and respecced to assassin.
Farming a radiance weapon has just made this ridiculously easy in many cases. Still enter groups who refuse to acknowledge the lack of gimpiness. Figured everyone looked at the kill count but I guess its just me. No wonder noone ever seemed to notice. Will employ your tactics and healers will be back to being the lone scapegoats at some point in the future hopefully(or whomever filled the party with rangers).

BTW Dresek this is the 2nd excellent thread you created in a brief time period. Keep it up and Kamikatsu will be seething with envy.

and to be the guy to enter the quest early and sommon a cleric bot in lowbie quests then just zerg

You should change it a little.

Instead of piking/dying when you can't lead the kill count, just don't kill anything (damage everything to 5~10% hp left and leave it for members to kill). This way, your kill count will still be dead last while avoiding the /squelch list.
In case you didn't already notice, my posts that end with must NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, be taken seriously.
