Default How to tell if you have failed at DDO.

(yes, that's a 17th level character running a 1st level Korthos quest on Hard - looking for other characters only of 17-20th level).

I didn't screenshot it the time (kicking myself), but there was once an LFM up by a 14th level with a 13th level in his party, with an LFM up for Misery's Peak with a description of "need heals".

Not too long ago I spotted an LFM running Harbor for favor, with median level being about 15. 5/6 players, one of them being a Favored Soul.

    "healer needed!"

With only the cleric class selected for the LFM. I mean... what?

guilds post these sorts of LFM's all the time when populating a guild raid group. they do this so that the host isn't spammed by random non-guildies who would also want to run the same raid if they actually happened to know what raid it was.

though in many instances, it's just a case of someone selecting the wrong quest while tweaking their LFM.

Misclicking on cannith crystal instead of a level 17-20 quest seems weird...

it's still less weird than the LFM of the "DDO failure" actually being serious.

lol I put up Information is Key, Waterworks etc for lvl 20 -20 or 17-20 or 14-20 or whatever.

I got tired of tells because of my private lfms.
I put an lfm up for guild runs so guildies and friends can click it as they ready to join (I sometimes ignore chat channels when I busy with things like von 5, dq 1, titan etc) and suddenly you have millions of tells asking why it's private, and why I'm lfm'ing if I'm not accepting pugs.

I don't know if that is the same thing but it would be funny if it was sincere

Stop lying, Ras, we both know that you need a full group of 20's to grag your gimped ass through WW!

I tend to ignore private/guild LFM's unless they happen to be up for more than 30 minutes or so, at which point I politely ask if they need a filler.

My graphics card died a while back, so I don't know what the resolution is, but the graphics settings are as low as they can go.

I'm running it on my motherboard's video card, which sucks. Can't afford a new video card at the moment....

A fellow guildmate sent the guy a tell, and reported back that it seemed legitimate. The guy didn't indicate that it was any kind of guild-only run. Usually they'll indicate that there are "spots reserved" for a guild run. And if that was the case - why select any quest at all?

Looks OK to me, but then I run at lowest settings at 600x800. Why sacrifice performance just to pretty up a game?
