Is the distinction that Ardor is in the form of a clickie which can be used, switch items and still have 3 mins of healing bliss. Compared to devotion which needs to be equipped?
Thanks

sup ardor gives a 75% increase to healing spells, sup devotion gives 50% to heals. The text for ardor that says it is equivalent to devotion is wrong.
So no reason to stack them? Just grab a few extra superior ardor clickies and enjoy the extra healing all the time?
No reason to stack them at all, grab a few sup ardor clickies and heal away
maybe keep a sup devotion or potency item in your back pocket in case you run out of sup item clikies
I like to have a Potency or Devotion item equipped at all times (you can use Devotion at earlier levels, but once you get access to Potency get it- it affects all of your spells) and I use Sup Ardor Clickies when there is a big fight or before clicking an aura or burst.
That way, you always have *something* equipped and need to spend less time looking at your buff bar.
It's nice to have the 75% boost, but I'd hate to rely solely on Ardor clickies to pump up healing.
A lot depends on your playstyle, though- if you are comfortable out of melee and are ok dual wielding caster stat one handers or a mace and shield, I'd go with Potency or Devotion on either the weapon or shield. If you like to melee and go TWF, you can have a Pot./Dev. in the off hand and a damaging weapon in your main. If you really like THF, you might be SOL- although personally, I'd get a Sup. Pot. Greataxe and Icy Burst it until you're able to get Potency on an Amrath necklace.

Exactly. The other distinction is that Ardor provides 15% for each tier where Devotion/Potency/Eficiacy provide 10% for each tier. eg. a Greater Devotion ring provides 40% more, whereas a Greater Ardor clickie/pot provides 60% more.Is the distinction that Ardor is in the form of a clickie which can be used, switch items and still have 3 mins of healing bliss. I'm a big fan of Superior Ardor potions (available in House J and House P), but they only go up to spell level 5 (Cure Light Wounds, Mass).
Best way in my opinion is to handle it as phalaeo does. Keep a devotion item equipped and use your clicky/potion when you know there will be heavy healing needed soon. On easier quests you should be able to make it from shrine to shrnie with 2 clickies.

Thanks for the input, typically I equip sup potency and greater spell pen items the vast majority of the time (75%+) and use my sup ardor clicky before running into a large fight or before pulling around a ton of undead so I can burst them more effectively. Other than that I will occasionally switch to a falchion to mop up any stragglers when I am solo. For group play I am thinking I will be more effective keeping the falchion sheathed.
